In an exciting early milestone for our project, members of our team presented our work on a conference in Patra, Greece. The team members attended the European One Health Nexus: Bridging Human, Animal, and Environmental Health Across Europe conference (December 8-11, 2025), where they presented our work titled “Advanced Oxidation Approaches for the Remediation of Antibiotics Contaminated Aquaculture Effluents”. Remarkably, this presentation came together in our project’s very first months. The team introduced our concept and first results to the attendees, engaging with other researchers in the scientific space. The insightful feedback we received so early on our journey was incredibly energizing and validating.
Glimpses from the Conference:

This experience has reinforced our commitment to being proactive and “extroverted” with our work from day one. We believe in sharing our progress, seeking feedback early and often, and building connections that push our project forward. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to continue stepping out, sharing our journey, and growing on the global stage.
